Such a cold morning! Good morning! Started my morning by reading my Bible. Was reading up on Saul and Samuel. How Saul got rejected as a king. One thing that really caught my eyes was when God said He REGRETTED. He actually regretted setting Saul up on the mission to kill the Amalekites. Well, this is the NKJ version. But still, for some reason, it just stunned me! I think regret is such a strong word. But it was pointed more to that word in some other versions. NIV used 'grieved'. It was so bad that He even regretted it. Saul disobeyed God by sparing King Agag of Amalek and some fat animals. Haha. Really, fatlings. Anyways, somehow when i read that sentence. 'the LORD regretted that He had made Saul king over Israel.' I felt that sadness there, sensing that God was really THAT hurt to have done that. After putting so much trust in Saul. Yes, there is only one thing God cannot control. Our will. He could if He wanted to, but if He did, we will be like robots. God gave us the freedom to choose. :) That's why in life, we have to make lots of decisions. Thats why when God tells us what to do or when we ask Him what to do, we'd always say, "Let Your will be done." What I'm trying to say is that, to go through this life with all the super jumbo decisions that are needed to make, the best solution is always led back to God. When we live in the way He wants us to live, He promises us a safe and exciting future. Not only that, He promises us undying love. The most AMAZING thing about it is that He will never stop loving you. It doesn't matter who you are, where you are .. whether you are a Christian or not. He will still love you. I love that.

This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life. God didn't go to all the trouble of sending his Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the world how bad it was. He came to help, to put the world right again. Anyone who trusts in him is acquitted; anyone who refuses to trust him has long since been under the death sentence without knowing it. And why? Because of that person's failure to believe in the one-of-a-kind Son of God when introduced to him. JOHN 3:16

God LOVED the world this much. He was so passionate about the people that He actually gave something. Not just anything, but His son, Jesus. Now, Jesus, in his appearance was a human as well, for a father to lose his son, wouldn't that be SO painful? He gave something to us so dear. He could have chose to destroy the whole world and have the whole wide open space to Himself or something. But God, is never selfish. He thought of us. INFACT, He thought of us long before this world even began. We are all so precious..so priceless in His eyes. He chose not to but instead He gave US His son. One and ONLY son. So that we may be saved through His son, Jesus Christ. And He only asks us for one thing. Relationship. To have a relationship with Him. An imperfect human with a perfect God. What could be better than this? :)

You stole my heart.
How can i stand here with You and not be moved by You?

I don't regret what i have with You. <3>
